Coffee in Ethiopia and women

Here is yue shan, sharing coffee with Ethiopian women at the hotel we stayed in Gondar, Northern Ethiopia.

Did you know that coffee comes from a place in ETHIOPIA, from a kingdom called Kaffa.

Coffee is part of the culture in Ethiopian mountains, where folks drink an OBLIGATORY 5 cups a day, a break from work and cannot be hurried. The coffee is roasted, ground and filtered on the spot, making it a fresh cup.

Unfortunately, the best grades are exported (read: starbucks exploitation) and Ethiopians drink the lesser grades which can sometimes be quite bitter. No cream added.
