Bhagsu : stone portraits and wishes on a rock

Bhagsu is a small village about 2 km north of McLeod Ganj, a town at the foothills of the Himalayas in Dharamsala India. While McLeod Ganj is crowded with tourists and buddhist students and the Dalai Lama hanger-ons, Bhagsu is quite a nicer place to visit. As you walk up the waterfall, there is a collection of wishes and portraits drawn on pieces of rocks from the earthquake-prone area.
