Sala Keoku is a park located on the borders of Laos and Thailand (Nong Khai) and contains dozens of Hindu and Buddhist statues, the work of >Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat< who started with the “Buddha Park” opposite the river over in Laos in 1958.
If Walt Disney was a Buddhist and lived in Laos, this may be what he would have attempted. Surreal, iconistic, fantastical works of art … art brut (?) … almost.
